Jason Dilworth joins The Marketing Eye to develop technical capability

  • Financial services marketing agency, The Marketing Eye, has appointed Jason Dilworth to the new role of Technical Director in a move designed to expand and develop the company’s data-driven marketing activities. The appointment follows the arrival of insurance and financial services specialist, Michael Gaughan, as Director of Strategic Partnerships in April.

Jason started his own retail-focused online marketing agency in 2010, which he subsequently developed into an online marketing consultancy in 2016. His specialist skills include tracking visitor behaviour; retargeting visitors; driving conversion rate increases; automation of workflows; website improvements; and accurate, real-time reporting of key marketing metrics. During his career, he has produced over 200 marketing blogs and articles, and 35 video discussions and tutorials.

Commenting on his appointment, Jason said: “My role within The Marketing Eye is to build on the great work done by the existing team in their data-driven marketing activities, both internally and for our clients. I will be looking to build on that solid foundation to improve efficiency across the board through data analysis, process automation and reporting. The aim is to enable the agency’s team of outstanding marketers to enhance the services that it offers to existing and potential clients and to take that expertise into new areas and sectors.”

The founder and Chief Executive of The Marketing Eye, Neil Edwards, said: “Jason is a hugely talented individual and will bring skills to the agency that will complement those of the existing team and enable us to take our performance marketing capability to a new level. His appointment is part of a corporate plan to expand the agency and take it to a place where we can compete on level terms with the largest agencies in the financial services sector. We will continue with our strategy of recruiting top people as the opportunities arise.”
