CooperBurnett grows its Litigation department
CooperBurnett has strengthened its Litigation department with the appointment of Teresa Barnett as an associate solicitor.
Teresa trained and qualified at a specialist family law firm in London before moving to the Taunton office of Legal 200 firm Foot Anstey LLP, where she specialised in childcare, in particular private law proceedings including advising on disputes about residence and contact.
Her experience includes complex divorce cases, variation applications, all types of Children Act proceedings including overseas relocation and Schedule 1 applications. She was also part of the Domestic Violence forum in Taunton and is experienced in obtaining emergency orders to protect clients.
Teresa strengthens CooperBurnett's highly regarded Litigation team and her work will primarily focus on divorce, financial issues arising from relationship breakdown and child-related matters such as contact, residence and relocation overseas. She is a member of Resolution, formerly the Solicitor's Family Law Association.
