TISSL rallies top chefs to support Mad Summer Ball

TISSL, the award-winning EPoS solutions provider, has been using its enviable client list to secure some fantastic auction prizes for the Mad Summer Ball, being held on Saturday 2 July 2011 in aid of Help for Heroes and The Rifles Care for Casualties.

TISSL - which provides Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) systems to a variety of venues, ranging from fine dining and quick service pubs to hotels and clubs - has secured raffle prizes from clients including 1 Lombard Street, Gauthier Soho, Heston Blumenthal's The Fat Duck, the Criterion Restaurant, Jason Atherton's new restaurant, Pollen Street Social and the Caprice Group

Michelin-starred chef, Alexis Gauthier, who is offering a tasting menu for two as an auction prize, says: "I'm happy to be helping! It's great that TISSL are doing this and we are really happy to help such a good cause. It's important that we all help and play our part."

Adds Kevin Coetzee, managing director of TISSL, adds: "We are incredibly proud of the number of high profile clients we work with and they have been incredibly generous in supporting the Mad Summer Ball. We hope that guests arrive in a generous mood."

The event is being held at Wingbury Courtyard Business Village in Wingrave, where TISSL is based.

"Our landlord, James Henderson, has held a number of charity balls here on the land in Wingrave and we are delighted to be supporting the Mad Summer Ball this year," says Kevin Coetzee. "Over the years, James and his wife Jennie have supported a number of different charities; in 2009 the Mad Summer Ball raised £40,000 for the Wooden Spoon unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. We all agree that the two charities chosen this year are very worthy and have certainly caught the attention of our clients."

The fabulous black tie evening will begin with a Pimms reception with music from the Band of The Rifles Regiment. The entertainment will continue during dinner, before Bjorn Again, performing the greatest hits of ABBA, take to the stage. The evening will also include a superb auction, as well as other fundraising activities during the night, plus a Champagne Bar and outside BBQ, among other attractions.
