Senior appointments boost The Marketing Eye’s financial services line-up

Dan Roberts has joined rapidly-expanding financial services marketing agency, The Marketing Eye, as Managing Director – the third senior appointment to be announced in the last three months. Insurance sector specialist Michael Gaughan joined as Director of Strategic Partnerships in April and Jason Dilworth was appointed the last month to fill the role of Technical Director.

Dan, who has an extensive background in Marketing (18 years) and in Insurance (7 years), has joined The Marketing Eye from MORE TH>N where he spent 2 years heading up the direct marketing activity. Prior to that he spent five years at Hastings Direct managing the eCommerce team. During his extensive career in marketing, he has also worked at the Land Registry and Revenue & Customs, Kensington Mortgages, Bradford & Bingley and at independent mortgage broker, John Charcol.

Commenting on his appointment, Dan said: “The new role is a challenging one because for the first time in my career I shall be working on the agency side rather than the client side of marketing. It is an opportunity to work alongside a team of very experienced and talented people, hopefully adding my knowledge to theirs to provide a better offering to existing and potential clients in the financial services sector.”

“As my title implies, I will also be taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business and working to expand and develop The Marketing Eye so that it can match the very best agencies in London in terms of technical capability, sector insight and experience. It promises to be a very exciting future and one to which I am looking forward very much.”
