Neil Edwards - Managing Director & Strategic Marketing Consultant

Chartered Marketer Neil is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing with many years' experience in marketing, brand and communications.

His experience includes being a Director of Marketing in The Royal Bank of Scotland Group where he was responsible for brands in the UK, Ireland and US. Those brands include: Lombard, Jamjarcars.com, Angel Trains and Dixon Motors.

Entrepreneurial, creative and energetic, Neil's success has come from a pragmatic and intelligent approach to combining marketing with business needs.

 

Emma Martin - Client Director

Emma MartinEmma is an experienced marketing, events and business development professional with a Masters in Business.

She has spent 9 years working in Financial Services and has held senior marketing roles with The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Friends Provident and Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Professionally, Emma is an excellent communicator with a proven track record of delivery. As a person, she is vivacious and creative.

Outside of work, Emma is a keen sports enthusiast - she competes in ladies singles tennis leagues and regularly sails offshore. Emma also has an interest in wine, having written a thesis on the changing patterns in the European wine industry as part of her Masters!

 

Maxine Davenport - Client Director

Maxine DavenportMaxine is a qualified marketer with over 15 years event and marketing experience and particular knowledge of the leisure, retail, IT and security industries.

Working with blue chip clients such as Hewlett Packard, Cisco, Virgin, Siemens and Sony to name just a few, Maxine is well known within the Industry and has planned and implemented a number of award winning campaigns across the globe.

Maxine’s energetic approach and creative flare is a valuable complement to her experience. An artist and enthusiastic karaoke singer, there is seemingly no end to her talent!

 

Angela Ward - Manager, PR Services

Angela WardAngela is a journalist with more than 20 years' experience and is helping clients of The Marketing Eye raise their profile across all types of media.

She was most recently the freelance business reporter on The Kent and Sussex Courier and The Sevenoaks Chronicle and previously worked on the leading mergers publication, Acquisitions Monthly.

When Angela is not at work, she spends the majority of her time acting as a taxi service for her two children. She is a member of the Crowborough committee of Cancer Research UK and organises a large fundraising lunch for the charity each year, attracting more than 250 people.




Bryony Saunders -
Marketing Executive

Bryony SaundersBryony supports Neil and the rest of the team with the management of key accounts as well as keeping a number of aspects of our own marketing moving forward.

Bryony is very popular with our clients and adds a delightful sparkle to the office too.

Before joining The Marketing Eye, Bryony worked in a number of agencies and travelled widely. She has also set up a successful jewellery design business.



 

Matthew White - Marketing Executive

Matthew WhiteAfter undertaking work experience with the firm previously, Matt joined The Marketing Eye full-time in 2010. With a 2.1 degree already under his belt from The University of Hertfordshire, Matt has recently completed a Masters in Advertising and Marketing Communications at Bournemouth University.


An 'ideas man', his knowledge of theory combined with ever increasing practical experience will be of great benefit to the team and our clients as the business develops.


Matt is a keen swimmer and has represented Great Britain and England in water polo. In his spare time, he also enjoys strumming the guitar.

 

Jo Allen - Creative Director

Jo AllenJo completed her formal study of design in America between 1999 and 2002 and spent a year working under a graphic designer/artist in Montana, New Mexico, Arizona and Florida.

Jo joined The Marketing Eye on her return from America in 2004.

Her inspiration comes from a close understanding of our clients' businesses and an innate ability to take the customer's position. Jo's work is intentionally evocative in nature turning the feelings, emotions and values of the client into visible imagery.

 

Adam Claxton - Designer

Adam ClaxtonAdam has several years' experience in graphic design and has successfully turned his raw artistic talent into creating eye-catching concepts for all media.

A natural artist, Adam paints and draws to a very high level. Indeed, many of his concepts start 'on the pad'. For those of us in the team who lack any measure of artistic ability, his is a talent to wonder at and behold.

When not focussing on the needs of our clients, Adam's passion is his music. His band, Gypsy & The Wolf, has released a number of records and is establishing a good following in Europe and Japan.

Adam believes that the visual identity is a vital element of any brand and can be a key point of difference in today's crowded marketplace.

 

Jan Edwards - Operations Director

Jan EdwardsJan is responsible for the management of operations & customer service, ensuring that our projects remain on time and on budget. Jan also leads on managing the requirements of our smaller business clients.

A family history of small businesses puts her uniquely in touch with the requirements of the owner managed business. Her experience in the retail sector drives her passion for delivering excellent customer service in everything that we do.
