Business award for Sussex-based Affinity Select

Business award for Sussex-based Affinity Select

SPECIALIST business insurance broker Affinity Select Insurance Services, based in Uckfield, East Sussex, has been named as ‘UK Business Insurance Intermediary of the Year 2014' by Finance Monthly magazine.

The Financial Business Awards have been given in recognition of the "considerable achievements of companies which have a proven record in innovation and which have demonstrated strategic vision." Nominees and the eventual winners of the various categories are the result of an independent poll taken among Finance Monthly's 108,000 subscribers.

Commenting on the award, Affinity chief executive Jenny Carter-Vaughan said: "It is always nice to receive an award, but it is especially gratifying when the recognition has come from your peers in the financial sector. It means a lot to both staff and clients because they have independent, objective evidence that you are up there at the top of your profession. I am very pleased and proud."

Affinity Select, which provides a complete range of insurance services for corporate and personal clients, has a particular expertise in Professional Indemnity insurance and Kidnap and Ransom cover. The company also offers specialist insurance to cover "Grand Design" building projects for individuals and companies.

Mark Palmer, executive editor of Finance Monthly, said: "Finance Monthly has a unique insight into what makes financial businesses tick and what makes them strive for excellence. The awards recognise companies that have demonstrated sustained growth, achieved their strategic objectives and fulfilled much of their potential, quarter after quarter."
