Keith has a wealth of experience in the finance industry, having taken on a number of high calibre roles on both the PR and journalism side. Keith is a former FT columnist and personal finance editor. He left his post as the Head of the City Desk to create a specialist financial PR unit in McCann Erickson. Subsequently, Keith formed The Paternoster Partnership in 1992 and City Road Communications in 2000; he was founder and Chairman of both.
During 30 years in PR, Keith has acted for a wide range of public companies, across most sectors as well as for large quoted companies – e.g. Tesco, C.E. Heath, Senior Engineering, BTR, Cable and Wireless (for HMG) – and handled many Stock Exchange listings on the junior and senior markets.
Keith has at various times been a consultant to large professional firms (Price Waterhouse), to trade bodies (AITC), to stockbrokers (Laing & Cruickshank), to Government (HMG and Guernsey) and to investment banks (Schroder, Kleinwort Benson and Charterhouse). Gaining particular experience in the financial services sector, Keith has acted for institutions such as M & G, Henderson, Lombard, Martin Currie, Foreign & Colonial, Sun Life, Clydesdale Bank, Allied Irish Bank, Fidelity and NatWest Investment Management.
When not in the office, Keith enjoys socialising, bird watching and travelling the globe.
