Last chance for local businesses and tradespeople to enter Uckfield Business Awards 2014

uba_logo_twitter_2014.jpgWith less than a week to go before the entry deadline, businesses operating in and around Uckfield are being encouraged to enter the Uckfield Business Awards 2014. Among the Award categories available are: ‘Tradesperson of the Year’, ‘Business Person of the Year’, ‘Best New Product or Service’ and ‘National/International Business of the Year’.

To enter, businesses should submit an online entry form at The closing date for entries is September 8th.

With backing from Uckfield Chamber of Commerce and support from Uckfield FM, the 2014 Awards are being co-ordinated by Neil Edwards from The Marketing Eye, Adrian Corbin from Scientifica and Gary King of Uckfield FM.

“Uckfield boasts a wide variety of shops and restaurants – both independent and part of larger chains, as well as lots of skilled tradespeople” said Neil Edwards. “If you think your business could be a contender this year, then now is the time to put your business forward for a 2014 Award. It’s really easy to enter your business and it’s free – so take part now.”

“Winning the award was a great accolade for us and something we’ve utilised ever since,” said Robert Suckling from George Moss Jewellers, winners of the Customer Service Award in 2012.

The Uckfield Business Awards 2014 celebrate the achievements and diversity of the East Sussex town’s business community.

The Awards evening is being held at the East Sussex National on Thursday November 6th.
