Michael Gaughan joins The Marketing Eye to steer corporate strategy
Financial services marketing agency, The Marketing Eye, has appointed Michael Gaughan as Director of Strategic Partnerships, signalling the next phase in the company's growth.
Michael previously spent 20 years in the Insurance Industry as a senior underwriter, marketer, and director before creating FWD in 2000, a specialist, London-based financial services marketing agency, where he held the position of CEO. Among his many qualifications, he is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Institute of Marketing as well as being a Chartered Insurer and Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. Michael is also an FCA Approved Person and a non-executive director of USAA.
Commenting on his appointment, Michael said: "As the title suggests, my role is to help develop the business, extend its reach into the insurance sector and to use my experience and contacts to help The Marketing Eye form strategic alliances with other agencies. It will take time to achieve all these objectives, but I am looking forward to the challenge and to working with a team that includes some very experienced and talented marketing professionals."
Based in London with its operational centre in Uckfield, East Sussex, The Marketing Eye is a strategic marketing consultancy and demand generation agency, specialising in the financial services sector. The agency has particular emphasis on new and emerging businesses in the Alternative Finance and FinTech space.
